Leadership Confidential is a program of Deliberate Evolution. This page explains what information we collect through leadershipconfidential.com, how we use it, and the limited way we use LinkedIn account data as part of our own content work. It's written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, and it describes what we actually do, not more than that.
If you use the "Start Here" form on this site, we collect the name and email address you enter. We use it only to respond to you and to figure out whether Leadership Confidential is a good fit for your situation. We don't sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
This site is hosted on ClickFunnels, a third-party website platform. Like most websites, our hosting platform may automatically log standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view, and may use cookies for basic site functionality. We don't currently run additional third-party analytics or advertising tracking on this site beyond what our hosting platform provides by default.
Separately from this website, we operate an internal tool that connects, with explicit authorization, to Dan Capello's own LinkedIn account. Through LinkedIn's official API, it retrieves analytics about Dan's own published posts, things like impressions, reactions, and comment counts, and stores that information internally so we can understand what content resonates and improve future content. This integration:
We don't sell personal information to anyone. We don't scrape or collect data from LinkedIn profiles other than the authorized account described above. We don't use any data we collect for mass or automated outreach.
We use a small number of third-party services to run this site and our content work:
We don't share the personal information described in this policy with any other third party for their own use.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, including relying on our service providers' own security infrastructure and limiting access to internal records to the people who need it. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain accurate records, and delete them when they're no longer needed for that purpose. LinkedIn analytics data is retained only as needed to compare content over time. If you'd like us to delete information you've submitted, contact us below and we will, except where we need to keep limited records for legitimate business or legal reasons.
This site is intended for business professionals and isn't directed at children; we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above. And to be direct about it: this policy describes our actual current practices, and we don't claim compliance certifications (like SOC 2 or ISO 27001) or specific legal-framework compliance (like GDPR or CCPA) that we haven't formally implemented. If you have specific regulatory requirements, contact us to talk it through.
